Elizabet Cibilis
Sports & Remedial | Therapeutic Massage | Pregnancy Massage | Lymphatic Drainage Massage
Elizabet is a fully qualified and insured massage therapist that tailors different treatments for different individuals, respecting each unique way of getting better.
Her journey into the 'holistic world' began after she moved to London and started to work with kids, who as she puts it 'awakened my caring side, making me remember how colourful life can be!'
She has studied Sports & Remedial Massage (SRM) as well as Lymphatic Drainage Massage (LDM) which coupled with her experience gives her confidence to perform a range massage therapies. LDM is very beneficial during and after pregnancy, after sports injury and pre/post-operative situations, to boost immune system, to detoxify the body, among others.
With the aim of combining her two passions (motherhood and massage), Elizabet completed a Pregnancy and Massage diploma, an area that she desires to explore further. She feels privileged to be able to support women in this very important period, when they much need care and attention as hormonal adjustments and the growing baby cause significant changes in their bodies and minds. It can be very challenging and draining for the expectant mothers, but Elizabet believes that with the appropriate care, pregnancy can be the most amazing and transformative time of women's lives.
Since completion of LDM, SRM and Pregnancy Massage Elizabet has worked as a freelance therapist as well as a number of agencies. Through these agencies she has practiced in different hotels around London such as The Dorchester, The Grosvenor House, The Soho Hotel, Intercontinental, The Kensington Hotel, The Hilton Hotel, among others. Since January 2009, Elizabet has been an active volunteer at the Royal Free Hospital, Hampstead / London, where she is part of the Complementary Therapy team, giving massage treatments for in/out-patients in different wards, including the maternity ward.
When asked how treating someone makes her feel, Elizabet tells us: 'I feel calm, peaceful but full of energy. I believe that the effectiveness of the treatment lies on the connection between patient and practitioner. When I start a massage treatment I switch off from anything around me and I just concentrate in caring for the patient lying on the couch. During each treatment I let my intuitive hands to be my guide having my knowledge to back me up, adapting the massage for the different patients needs.'

Hilary Fennelly
Reiki
Hilary trained as a healer after becoming seriously ill from Rheumatoid Arthritis which is an auto-immune disease that also attacks and can deform the joints. She experienced healing herself and found that after a short while the pain was greatly reduced and all her symptoms diminished to the extent that she no longer needed strong medication. The healing made her feel emotional at first, then calm and relaxed. She was able to cope much better with life and became much more optimistic and hopeful about the future. Her condition has now been stable for about ten years.
Hilary is a professionally qualified Reiki and Holistic Energy Healer with over 10 years experience. She has given healing to many people in their homes, in clinics, therapy centres, in hospitals & hospices.
In 1999 she became a Reiki Practitioner having trained using the method based on the teachings of Professor Mikao Usui who lived in Japan in the early part of the 20th century.
In 2001, she took the Healing Accreditation Course offered by The College of Psychic Studies (MCPS) in South Kensington, London. This 150 hours course includes Energy & Aura Sensing, the use of Sound & Colour in Healing, and knowledge of the Major & Minor Chakras. (These are energy centres in the body which can become out of balance. This imbalance is often caused by mental, emotional or physical distress or illness. The intuitive directing of healing energy through the hands of a healer can help to rebalance these centres.) This Healing Course also included a basic Anatomy & Physiology Course; a knowledge of Healing & the Law and the organization's Code of Conduct. Hilary has been working in and running one of the four healing clinics at the CPS since 2001, and has many regular clients there.
She also became a member of the National Federation of Spiritual Healers (MNFSH) and for a while she worked in one of their centres in Wimbledon.
In 2002 Hilary trained with the Paul D'Auria Cancer Support Centre (formerly The Cancer Resource Centre) to become a volunteer healer / befriender to visit patients with mostly terminal cancer in their homes and only recently stopped doing so when the charity's funding became insufficient to sustain the project.
In 2007 she became an Approved Healer with the Spiritualists National Union (MSNU), which required her to complete 50 sessions of giving healing in the local church, plus attending training days and writing essays on all aspects of healing and running a healing centre. Hilary continues to be a regular volunteer at the local church
Patty Hemingway
Homeopathy
Patty first discovered homeopathy when her children were little and in need of a gentle but effective treatment for childhood illnesses. It worked every time, and they soon felt better, and so did she! As a result of this good experience, she decided on a career change and left her work in adult and continuing education where she had specialised in language and communication skills to retrain as a homeopath.
She graduated from the Hahnemann College, London in 1998, and is a member of the Association of Natural Medicine - where registration is dependent on qualification and the demonstration of principles of good practice. Her education in the art of healing has continued, and over the years she has qualified in additional therapies and techniques.
As well as EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) Patty often use muscle testing or applied kinesiology to assess what remedies are needed for treatment, and she is also a qualified NAET (Allergy Elimination Technique) practitioner. She prescribes Australian Bush Flower Essences which can be combined with other therapies.
Patty has always had a special interest in dyslexia and dyspraxia because of her previous experience in education and has been able to use homeopathy to help children and adults with specific learning difficulties.
As a result of her own experience of the harm that environmental pollutants such as electromagnetic radiation can cause, she has researched and written about electro-sensitivity and ways to treat this condition, and other allergies (which are available on reques)
She offers workshops for small groups of four to six participants on particular topics of interest. Recent topics have included homeopathic remedies for first aid, travel, women's problems and treating childhood illnesses.
Patty believes in an integrated approach to health, and is more than happy to work with other therapists, or to offer homeopathy or EFT alongside conventional medicine as part of your individualised treatment programme. This is especially effective in assisting with recovery after surgery or sports injuries.
Martin Hempel
Counselling
Martin holds a Diploma in integrative therapeutic counselling. During his training he worked on bridging the person-centred model (which is non-directive and focused on what you feel in the present moment), and the psychodynamic (which looks rather more at things that have might happen to you in the past, particularly in your childhood). Where appropriate he also aims to integrate the transpersonal (the self-transcendent or spiritual) into his work.
He is a member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and abides by its ethical framework. Martin is currently working on an MA in Psychotherapy.
It is often said that 'the relationship is the therapy' and Martins' work is underpinned by this simple truth. He aims to create a healing space in which his clients may express difficult feelings safely and without fear of judgment.
He works collaboratively and firmly believes in the value of self-empowerment: His aim is to facilitate your personal growth so that you may begin to realise your true potential.
Martin works mostly in dialogue, but might invite you to express yourself through drawing or to work with objects and believes in the healing power of laughter.
