Life Coaching

Life Coaching is a conversation based approach which has the purpose to create clarity, self-awareness, reflection, growth and help a person to move from where they are in a situation in life to where they want to be. Differently from Counselling or Psychotherapy, it is future focused and the main purpose is to find solutions and promote change.

Life Coaching is focused on personal issues, challenges and goals someone wants to work on, achieve or change in their lives. It s also a process which is based on a relationship between client and coach and it has the client s interests and objectives as the main focus.

A professional coach may use different approaches to support the client through the sessions, such as, inquiry, reflection, feedback and observations. These approaches aim to identify and set possible action plans to achieve goals, change situations, personal issues, overcome challenges and many others. The client is responsible for taking actions and the coach may assist, however, never leads or interfere in the client s decision.

The process is divided in sessions, which can be from 1 to 6, or more according to the client’s need and they are set through an agreement between client and Coach. The sessions are based on the client’s interests and objectives and the client is responsible for taking actions. The Coach may assist, but never leads or interferes in the client’s decisions.

Coaching has been used in the “business and sports world” for many years and the results achieved though this powerful process is very well-known nowadays and have expanded further worldwide. Life Coaching is for everyone who wants to achieve more in life, understand themselves better through self-awareness and self-enquiry, be the best they can be in all areas of their lives, understand why they do what they do and to see how they can improve or change any situation they may want to.  
Introductory Coaching Session - What can you expect from the session?

The session will take up to an hour and will consist of:
  • Identifying areas of your life that you want to change or improve.
  • Getting clear on what you want and creating your own strategies to achieve it.
  • Learning to be clear about setting short and long term goals and following them up.
  • Creating a plan to follow and achieve your goals with clear steps and identifing any the barriers on the way.
By the end of the session, you'll leave with a greater awareness of the steps needed to change your current situation and achieve your long term goals.
