Reiki

Reiki is the name given to a system of natural healing which evolved in Japan from the experience and dedication of Dr. Mikao Usui (d.1926). 

The Reiki treatment is very simple and non-intrusive. The patient simply lies down on a couch or seat on a chair and just relax to receive the Reiki. The treatment covers the whole body and can be applied longer in some areas if needed. There is no need to remove any clothes as Reiki will pass through them. The patients may feel a warmth sensation from the hands of the practitioner and a sense of deep relaxation or calmness may occur.

Reiki helps to heal at all levels: physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. It aims to restore the person energy field, bringing well-being and health.

The practice of Reiki is used in many hospitals around the world as a complementary therapy and it has shown many benefits to patients.
